The Tejeda Family {Peoria IL Family Photography}

The Tejeda’s are long time family friends and we were excited to take their annual fall photographs.  After “The Dad” got slightly….misplaced…..driving around West Peoria, we ended up taking their portraits somewhere in New England…….I think!;-)  Actually we went to a secluded area of Upper Bradley Park and the light, the leaves and this wonderful family did the rest!

We love BIG Families!

You may have guessed that with 9 children of our own that we might know a family or two with a bunch of kids, and we do!  This is a such a great big wonderful family that we just had to share some of our favorites from their session!  We went to Sommer Park just west of Peoria on a beautiful fall evening and made some wonderful family portraits for these folks!

Jeff and Michelle {Peoria IL Photography}

This is what can happen when the phone rings and the voice on the other end asks if you can possibly squeeze a shoot in tomorrow, before the weather gets bad!?  Jeff and Michelle needed some art to decorate their new apartment and one look at this fun couple and I knew we were going downtown and then to the new Caterpillar Visitor Center and Riverfront Museum!  Thanks for letting us squeeze you in for a really fun shoot, at the very last minute!:-)

Emily and Zach are Engaged!

We are going to photograph this wonderful couple’s wedding this February, in Chicago!  It may be a bit chilly in Chicago then, but their engagement session here in Peoria at Jubilee Park had perfect fall weather!  A warm evening, beautiful golden fall leaves and a tall grassy field all helped make the afternoon feel a little bit romantic!  Tesa and I can’t wait until February!

Easter Seals Tribute Dinner to OSF’s Sister Judith Ann Duvall {Peoria IL Event Photography}

Sister Judith Ann Duvall is most deserving of the Tribute Dinner held in her honor by Easter Seals.  What an inspiring lady she is!  Sometimes I get caught up in the event I am hired to photograph, and this was one of them.  The stories of the children and the families that OSF and Easter Seals have served are remarkable and pulled at my hearstrings!  Later, during Sister’s speech she proclaimed strongly OSF’s stance on serving, protecting, and nurturing life.  It was an inspiring speech, and very obviously from her heart.  I’m impressed with her!  Here are a few of the images I made of the evening.
